I sit here wondering what to
write and nothing comes to mind.
There are no words spoken,
written, or otherwise that can
fully encompass the plethora of
emotions I feel at this very
second. Words just aren’t good
enough this time. Such is the
eminence of your memory.
Pain can be a cruel measure of
time. Time is known to fly when
you’re having fun but drag
during moments of pain,
misfortune, grief, sorrow and
anguish. That is a credit to you
my friend as I am left wondering
why it always felt like we never
had enough time.
Some people come into your life
and leave without a trace. They
are like phantoms……ghosts who
walk. You Norman were the polar
opposite. You came into my life
and in the oh so brief year we
knew each other left an
indelible imprint on my heart.
You may be gone…………but you will
never be forgotten. I will carry
the memory of you till the day I
die. Thank you for the gift that
was you.
So with that said my friend, I
bid you so long and
farewell………..till we meet again
on the other side.
Your friend,
